Home located near Cranbrook

Home located near CranbrookThis home once belonged to Lee Iacocca. We installed 40 year Gaf Timbline shingles, because the old shingles were found to be defective. And after we filed the claim with GAF, they gave us a free upgrade to a 40 year shingle in the Charcoal blend color. Home is located near Cranbrook. Completed 2006.

A-frame

hpim0014.jpgNotice the line running across the side of this A-frame? This is a new intake vent system designed for applications where ventilation is needed on the top side of the tongue and groove maple ceiling. We also had to replace the old insulation and add “baffles” for proper ventilation from top to bottom, as well as soffit intake vents in the overhangs. Completed 2005.

Troy Community of Christ Church

hpim0012.jpgThis is the Troy Community of Christ Church lcated on Crooks Rd. South of Wattles in Troy. Because of the low pitch on the lower roof we replaced the plywood, installed “baffles” (for proper ventilation) and installed ice and water shield 9′ up from the bottom. We also installed copper valleys. This roof is a Certainteed Landmark 50 year in Burnt Sienna. Completed 2005.

State Senator John Pappageorge

State Senator John PappageorgeThis home is located just north of Fire Station #5 on John R. in Troy. It is the home of State Senator John Pappageorge. This roof was installed in 2004 and features the Certainteed Independence 50 year in the weathered wood, with the new algae resistant copper sulfate granules guaranteed to keep black streaks from forming for the first 10 years of the life of the shingle.

Troy Fire Station #5

Troy Fire Station #5This is Troy Fire Station #5 on John R. South of South Blvd. at Atkins in Troy. In 1990 when this was built we used Certainteed 25 year Horizons in Shadow Black. This was installed back when we still used Alum Ridge vents instead of the shingle over ridge vents used today.
